Peter (“Pete”) Solecki, Of Counsel, is an accomplished and highly sought-after legal expert in the areas of real estate, real estate disputes, risk management, litigation management, corporate legal and business operations, and compliance issues, to name a few. He is the former General Counsel of Prudential California Realty, an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway, where he headed a corporate legal department of six lawyers and paralegals. In that capacity, Pete was responsible for oversight of an extensive litigation portfolio and for risk management at almost 100 real estate offices throughout Southern California. His superior command of the real estate industry benefits clients not only involved in real estate transactions or litigation, but also provides added value through real estate legal training, corporate compliance programs, public speaking and presentations.

Pete’s extensive legal background also includes eight years in the Litigation Department of the San Diego real estate law firm, Hecht, Solberg, et.al., and 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, from which he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel Judge Advocate.

Pete holds a juris doctor degree from Georgetown University School of Law and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He is a former instructor at the Naval Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island.
