Winton & Larson LLP Founders Honored for Outstanding Volunteer Efforts

In addition to running a busy real estate and business law practice, Evangeline J.  (“Ginger”) Larson and Steven W. Winton, founders of Winton & Larson LLP based in Rancho Bernardo, are busy earning individual accolades on a variety of community and civic causes.

This month the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce (SDNCC) named Ms. Larson its “Committee Chair of the Year” at its annual “State of the Community” luncheon.   This is the second year in a row that Ms. Larson has been singled out for her volunteer efforts with SDNCC.  She also recently flew to Sacramento with fellow SDNCC delegates to attend a Legislative Summit on behalf of the chamber.  In addition, Ms. Larson serves on the board of directors of the Poway Center for the Performing Arts Foundation.

Poway High School selected Steve Winton as its “Volunteer of the Year” for his volunteer efforts for Poway Unified School District.  Mr. Winton has taken a leadership role  with The Friends of Poway High Foundation (www.friendsofphs.org) for the past year.  The Foundation’s mission is to “bridge the gap between the amount of money actually provided by the State of California and the amount necessary to provide a first-class, high quality education to our students at Poway High School.”

Winton & Larson focuses its real estate and business law practice on real estate transactions, business matters and general civil litigation.  The firm looks forward to the opening of its Temecula office this summer.  For additional information contact Leah Swearingen at (619) 231-8401 or visit www.wintonlarson.com.
